Back to the madness!!

My first workshop went well.  The ladies had fun and made some cute projects. I look forward to doing more workshops.  I have a potential workshop on the 29th so I am very excited about that.

My classes have started again, so it's back to balancing, home, school, and crafting!  It is funny how managing my time has been the most challenging part of my master's program.  The workload and the coursework is a bit heavy, but the real challenge has not been the content nor the assignments, but in making sure I manage my time well enough to get it all done.

Anyway, I know you want to see what we made at my workshop so here are some collages I created of the projects we made.

Valentine's Day Basket
These cute little baskets could be
filled with candy, cookies, or a small pastry.
Ooh, some small heart shaped cookies would be cute and delicious :)

Valentine's Day Party Favor
These could be filled with a piece of chocolate candy,
but I chose the tea because of the sentiment:
"Thoughts of you warm my heart"
I thought it was cute :)

Stampin' Up! Workshop

A little sneak peak of the projects.

So as I mentioned in my last post, back to business! I have been working on getting organized and starting on the right foot with my business endeavor with Stampin' Up! I am pleased to announce that I will be holding my first workshop/Open House on the 11th of this month! I am more excited about the workshops I have in the works right now. I am planning a fabric workshop, possibly a digital studio workshop, a scrapbook workshop, oh and can't forget the holidays like Valentine's WS, Mother's Day WS, and Father's Day WS! I am sooooo excited! To see a listing of workshops and information or if you want to book and host a workshop and earn free product go to (copy the link and paste it into your browser):

My three favorite "F" words: Family, Food, and Fun!

It was great spending time with my family this holiday season. In the past it had been difficult to enjoy it because I was usually trying to finish up some of my coursework. This year I didn't want to do that. I really wanted to enjoy my baby's first Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. So I did just that. We had lots of fun, food, and spent lots of time with family. Here are some pictures. Now back to business!

The boxes I made for my Christmas card orders. Just a little something extra :) (Ignore the clutter in the background)

Sophia was excited with the presents on Christmas :)

She wants to walk on her own!
